Before assuming the charge of the post of Secretary, Provincial Ombudsman Secretariat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Fakhre Alam (PCS SG BPS-20) worked against important administrative positions, like Secretary to Govt of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Labour Department, Secretary to Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Livestock, Fisheries and Cooperative Department. He also served as Member Provincial Inspection Team, Governor Inspection Team and Member (Executive), Service Tribunal, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar. He has also worked on various positions in Health Department, Home & Tribal Affairs Department, Energy & Power Department, Social Welfare Department and P & D Department.
