The Office of the Provincial Ombudsman, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, since its establishment in the year 2011, has been facilitating redressal of thousands of complainants against maladministration by the provincial government agencies / departments. The core responsibility of the Provincial Ombudsman is to provide inexpensive and speedy relief to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Accountability is an essential requirement for good governance. Provincial Ombudsman Khyber Pakhtunkhwa works to bridge the gap between the citizens and the government organizations. The significant increase in number of complaints indicates an enhanced trust of the people in the Provincial Ombudsman Office for speedy redressal of their grievances.
