Mr. Mutaher Zeb took oath as the 5th Ombudsman for the Province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 4th day of August 2025. Before resuming upon Office as Provincial Ombudsman, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 04/08/2025, Mr. Mutaher Zeb had rendered over 33 years Provincial Service and had held important Administrative as well as field postings like Secretary to Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Establishment Department, Irrigation Department, Tourism, Culture, Archaeology and Museum Department and Mines & Mineral Development Department. He had also held important field positions like Divisional Commissioner, Kohat, Divisional Commissioner, Mardan, Divisional Commissioner, Hazara, Chairman Provincial Inspection Team, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, D.C.O District Administration Charsadda. His services were also utilized by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Political Administration (Ex-FATA) in six large populated Agencies like Political Agent (P.A) North Waziristan, Political Agent Khyber Agency, Assistant Political Agent (APA) District Mohmand, North Waziristan, Kurram, Khyber and Bajaur Agency. Mr. Mutaher Zeb has Master Degree in English Literature.
