How We Do

How We Do


The following procedure is followed in handling the complaints:

  1. The day-to-day working of the Office, as such, does not invoke strict/orthodox procedural and legal formalities.
  2. A complainant can file his complaint either by online forum/ post / e-mail or in person as per his/her convenience contact Information.
  3. The format of the complaint is not strictly laid down.
  4. It is normally registered on the day of its receipt and notice issued to the agency for submission of a report.
  5. There is no court fee. Likewise the appearance of counsels is also not required although the complainant has the right of being represented.
  6. A complaint is required to comprise the following:
  7. The complaint on plain paper/online/email/fax.
  8. Copy of the CNIC.
  9. An affidavit on a plain paper, duly signed by the Complainant or electronically check the box (if online, as given in online complaint form) that:

i) the facts mentioned in this complaint are correct to the best of my knowledge and belief.

ii) no complaint on this subject has previously been lodged with Mohtasib by me, or on my behalf, in the Head Office or any of the Regional/District Office.

iii)no suit,appeal,petition or other judicial proceeding in connection with the subject matter of this complaint is pending in any court or tribunal.

iv) I made a representation to the senior Officers of the Agency in this connection but have failed to elicit a reply/my representation has been unjustly turned down.


Registration is not refused to incomplete complaints However, The complainants are advised/approached to arrange the required documents. In case of any difficulty, the complainants have free access to the Honorable Ombudsman, the Secretary, and Investigating Officers etc.
